Guy plans to create a racing version of a Piaggio Ape – the tiny three-wheeled vehicles that are ubiquitous across Italy. While these vehicles were never designed with motorsport in mind, he discovers a racing scene based around them has sprung up in Italy, with drivers customising their Apes with motorcycle engines and improved suspension.
